Here is another picture of some of the dress materials. I sure hope Addie likes dresses, because that’s about all that will be hanging in her closet soon.

The Inventory
After cleaning out my supply of fabrics that I have had way too long, here is what I came up with for my next set of dresses.
This was all made with fabric I originally bought for the nursery of our second child. However, when I found out I was having a girl, I decided to go a bit more “girly”. The border fabric will be the bottom of the dress and it will also line the arm holes of the dress once complete.
Most of these were also made from my materials stash, with the exception of the pink/black stripes and dots.
Once they are at this stage, I then need to decide what size to make each dress, trim the fabric, add the contrasting fabric to the arm holes and the ribbon for the ties. Any of the sets pictured above can be made into a dress ranging from sizes 12 months to 4T. I also plan to make some sizes to fit a 5/6 and 7/8, but I’ll need to make up some inventory in those sizes soon.

My newest hobby…
I saw a picture of a super cute dress online the other day called a pillowcase dress. It did not appear that there would be much to it, so after a quick search online I found a pattern. Here are pictures of dresses number one and two.
I love the pink and brown fabric! They had so many to pick from at the fabric store that is was hard to decide on just two. I also made a matching bow that is clipped on to the hanger. I plan to make the dress, bloomers and matching bows for all my creations.
This is dress number two. I had the pink fabric leftover from another project and thought it would be cute paired with a solid black dress. The bow and bloomers are still in production.
So far I have fabric cut out for about 10 dresses. I’m planning to make up several and have some home parties in the near future for some fellow TNT teammates who are fundraising for the fall season and donate a portion of the proceeds to their campaigns. Let me know if your little one needs a dress!

All Dressed Up!
If you’ve followed our blog over the past few months, you already know Addie LOVES shoes. She recently discovered some black heels I have in my closet and it was love at first sight.
I’ve never even had the chance to wear these shoes and I’m pretty sure now I never will.
She wears them so much, she has even mastered walking in heels.
Showing off her outfit to her puppy. I think Belle approved.
Double Trouble…
….but twice the fun.
On June 7th just before 6pm, we welcomed Sophie Belle and Asher Caul into the world. They both weighed in at just over 5 pounds each and are doing great for being just over 5 weeks early. I was fortune enough to be able to be in the delivery room with my sister when she had them. That also means I have before, during and after pictures of her for blackmail later. ;)
Getting ready to meet the babies for the first time.
Sophie Belle, 5 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches long.
Asher Caul, 5 lbs 1 oz and 18 inches long.
Sophie Belle, all tuckered out. Being born is hard work after all.
Asher Caul, resting easy. He had a little trouble breathing at first, but was able to get rid of the oxygen within a few hours.
Sharing a bed for the first time. They are about a week old in this picture. Sophie apparently was not all that thrilled about sharing with her brother and required her paci to calm her. Looks like Misty will have her hands full.
A Dog’s Life
Blue Belle joined our family just a little less than a month ago, but acts like she has lived with us for a lifetime. The kids adore her, especially Addie. Every morning when Addie wakes up, she runs into our room and asks for her “Lella”. As you can see from the pictures to follow, I’m pretty certain Belle has decided to make our house her home.
Enjoying a nice, quiet afternoon nap on Dalton’s bed. She still can’t quite jump high enough to get on our bed, but I know the time is coming soon.
Snuggle time for the Lacy girls. Don’t worry, we are doing our best not to spoil the dog.
Snuggle time with Daddy. Did we mention how much this dog loves to snuggle?
Addie insisted in tucking Belle into her bed. She even shared one of her favorite blankets with the dog. I’m just waiting for the day when Addie tries to dress the dog up.
Enjoying some time in the swing one afternoon. Whenever she is left outside for any length of time, you can either find her in the swing or the kiddie pool playing on the slide.
Enjoying some puppy snacks with Addie. Addie loves to feed Belle endless supplies of treats. No wonder the dog loves her so much.
Macca, Addie and Belle at Grandpa Dalton’s house.
Dalton has enjoyed having a puppy, but I’m pretty sure Addie has claimed Belle for her own.

Say hello to my little friend…
We went back to San Angelo to pick up the newest member of the family and her name is Blue Bell. She is a 7 week old Blue Lacy. My uncle has a dog that he had bred so we took one of the puppies off his hands. The sire was named Little Boy Blue and the mother is Clara Bell, so we ended up with Blue Bell.
For everyone who has blessed us with their prayers for my grandfather over the last month or so, this is a great picture. He came over to my parents house this weekend and was doing great. This is him in the center next to Dalton enjoying a hot dog with the family.
This is our parent-of-the-year award photo. Please note the lack of adults.
(Ok I was taking the picture and ready to go in just in case.)
We sure are looking forward to years and years of enjoyment with our newest family member. Right now we’re just trying to decided who’s room she’s going to sleep in.
